You are a radar detector

So I thought I liked this song just because it was kind of catchy and got stuck in my head.
Then I watched the film clip. Now I like it even more.

Good times. In other news, going to Brisbane this weekend yay! Moving house next weekend yay!
Lots of exciting times ahead - and I can't wait!

Something older

How it creeps up on you
The king of surprise
Ready to attack the inner workings of your mind

Again you vow not to let it in
To let it overcome you
But inside you shatters
All the pieces fall out

Awash with the pain
Of a million shards of glass
Cutting through you
Tearing you apart

A single tear falls from your eye
A thousand words in just one drop
All the words you cannot say
For love, for loss, for fear.
Some thinking on the word 'judgment'.

Judgment: the ability to judge, make a decision, or form an opinion objectively, authoritatively, and wisely, esp. in matters affecting action; good sense; discretion: a man of sound judgment.

Also defined as...

Judgment: a misfortune regarded as inflicted by divine sentence, as for sin.

Everyone has the ability to judge. What intrigues me is that it's defined as forming an opinion objectively, authoritatively and wisely.

But does everyone have the right to judge? When is it okay for one person to judge another? Is it okay at all? If you were walking down the street and saw a homeless person take a cup of coffee out of a rubbish bin and drink it, would you judge them? It's highly likely. How is that okay? How is that making a wise decision about that person?

The other definition of judgment is a misfortune regarded as inflicted by divine sentence, as for sin. If someone judges you, that's your misfortune? Another person's opinion causes you misfortune?

What gives another person the right to judge you? Are they really in a position to do so? Or do they just think that they are?

Surely, the only person with any right to make a decision, form an opinion, objectively, authoritatively and wisely about you, is YOU.
